Toggle/Select Widgets with MetaData
-
Hi Everyone,
I am really interested in the ability to select certain widgets specific to a certain page. For example, for page About Me, I’d like to display a widget that displays text information such as “age, hometown, etc.” For page Contact, I would like to hide that text widget and display an entirely different text widget such as “Email, Phone, etc..”
Currently, as far as I know once you set a widget, it displays globally across the site. I would like to be able to
1) Enable all widgets globally and use metadata to Hide certain widgets that are not applicable to a certain page
2) Disable all widgets globally and use metadata to enable certain widgets…This feature would greatly enhance the customization of sites with many pages, as supposed to a traditional blog with mainly entries and few pages.
Thanks,
Linc
