    You can create a WordPress.com website here https://wordpress.com/start and you will be able to pick a subdomain for your WordPress.com site and it can be something like yoursitename.wordpress.com You can learn more about starting a WordPress.com site here.

    If you want to get a custom domain (something like yoursitename.com), you will have to get the WordPress.com Personal plan or higher, and you will be assigned a domain credit that you can use to buy a domain or map an existing domain with your WordPress.com site.
