Tonal theme design

Okay. I’m VERY new to my blog and NOT technologically advanced in anyway but I’m tryin my hardest here! I have a couple questions reguarding the design of the tonal theme and if I can change certain things.

    1. When I click on the little menu button in the top right hand corner and the menu pops up from the top, the background color is grey and the text is white. is there any way I can change specifically the dropdown menu background to a different color as well as the menu text to black instead of white???

    2. In my drop down menu I have 3 pages titled, fashion, lifestyle, and hair + beauty. When I click on (for example) Fashion, it takes me to a new page titled fashion. is there anyway to put a little box around the title “fashion” so it stands out against the proceeding post title below it? I really hope i’m making some sense here lol.

    3. Another color question: when I hover mouse over a post title it changes from black to a light grey to indicate to the reader that they can click on it. okay cool but is there any way I can change it to be pink instead of grey when a mouse hover’s over it? ):

    4. When I click on a page in my menu — lets say fashion — it lists the FULL posts right after the other. is there anyway I can condense the posts so the reader has a choice of which post they want to read instead of scrolling all the way through every post under fashion to find the one they are interested in? like pictures that take you to the post maybe or even part of the post shows then a “read more” option ??

hopefully at least one of these makes sense to somebody lol!
