Too few post in Recent Posts Widget

    I’ve got a recent posts widget on my sidebar and it is showing 5 posts. I would like to be able to show a few more and the support information found at http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/ seems to imply that I should be able to change it. I am using the Andreas09 theme. Is this a limit imposed by the theme or is this a bug?

    On other themes we are able to configure the Recent Posts widget to display up to 15 entries.
    In Andreas09 when we open the widget and find this:

    There are no options for this widget.
    Delete | Close

    IMO it’s no great loss as very few bloggers choose to display more than 6 posts on their front pages because readers simply won’t scroll for miles and miles.
