  Hi, could I please get a recommendation for a free current theme for an old-fashioned website with about five headings and hard-wired pages under that.

  If I can avoid it, I don’t want tagged blog posts, as I’d rather have a locked in structure that I can manually re-order. As I’ve done in the past with obsolete themes.

  The hard-wired pages will be mostly text articles with one or two photos.

  I’m not sure if I understand what you mean by hard-wired pages.

  Are you looking to create a homepage with five items in the menu, each of them leading to a single, static page?

  Choosing a theme is a very personal thing. As for functionality, you’ll be able to do what you want with any of them, so I’d suggest focusing on the style you like. Once you find one, you can then customize it to your liking. With Blocks, you can create almost anything.
