too many emails (from blogs I follow)

    Is it possible to change my settings for the blogs I follow? Specifically, I’d like to NOT receive an email each time there is a new post, but would still like to receive an email when someone has commented on my post or replied to a comment I made on theirs? I’m simply getting too many emails.

    Howdy!

    If you’re looking to only be notified of comments on your post and replies to your comment, you may want to consider only subscribing to the particular items of interest on the blogs in question (instead of following the blog outright).

    You can sign-up to be notified of replies to your comment when you make a comment–there’s a guide for this here. At this time, there isn’t a way to subscribe to an entire post to be notified of its comments.

    Alternatively, you can manage your email settings and change your email frequency so you’re not bombarded as frequently. I usually use “daily email delivery” as my “email delivery” preference; this makes sure I get notified of everything without being too intrusive. If you’re looking for something specific in the email notification, most email clients have search features that are perfect for the job.
