Too many posts on the homepage!

  Hi!

  I’d like for only my most recent post to appear on the homepage, followed by the titles (with maybe a small description) of the previous posts. I don’t want more than 5-6 posts to appear on the homepage though. Is there any way to make this happen?

  Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. :)

  You need to do two things.

  Firstly, go to Dashbord >>. Settings >> Reading and set the “Blog pages show at most” value to your desired number of posts.

  Then use the More Tag to split your individual posts: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  OR you can use a theme that does that automatically, like Hemingway. Only few work this way, though.

  As raincoaster said only a few themes Hemingway, Inuit Types and Fusion have this feature.
