too many redirects

    I have redirected my google domain name to point to my wordpress blog. I’ve changed the nameservers and have a new SSL certificate but when I try to open the blog now I get the message ‘Cannot connect due to too many redirects’ both on my windows laptop and my iphone. What do I need to do now?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hey there,

    I am not able to reproduce the issue, and it looks like your domain lancasterbususers.com is successfully connected. When a domain’s DNS or name server records are updated, it can take up to 72 hours (though is generally much faster) for those changes to propagate. It sounds like the changes may not have updated with your local service provider which is why the domain is redirecting so many times.

    The good news is that this issue will resolve itself, you can also clear your browser cache to be sure it is not a browser issue.
