too many redirects

hi – I’ve just migrated my self-hosted wordpress site to wordpress.com and everything looks fine until i update the domain name.
Ive (1) transferred my domain name to wordpress.com, (2) waited so that DNS is updated & (3) waited so that SSL cert is active.
Yet when i try to access my site I encountered the error “too many redirects” and would like to seek for advice.
