Too many redirects error

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m getting very frustrated by all the too many redirects errors that people, including me, are getting trying to get to my site. I’ve been reading through a lot of other folks having similar problems. Sometimes they are solved by time, but I set this up a week or so ago and it seems to be getting worse. Now I can’t even view my page when I click on view post from the dashboard without getting an error. My site is very simple. I’m using the superman theme and the only thing I’ve added is the mapping to the domain name that I bought a while back through Hover.com.

I’d really appreciate any advice you can give me. I’d hate to have to give up on WordPress but if people can’t see my page then it’s not doing me much good.

    Thanks

Actually I just discovered the reason behind the problem. Of course that happens as soon as I post a request for help. While it looked like I had the correct DNS servers for WordPress, I had neglected to go back to Hover and edit the record there. So it was showing both the three WordPress ones as well as the Hover ones. Once I deleted the Hover ones everything seemed to work.

That is good news. Tagging for Staff help removed. Blog on!
