TOO MANY REDIRECTS error after custom domain mapping
-
Hi, after registering a new domain name (with NetRegistry.com), I attempted to map that domain name to my wordpress site. It’s been nearly 24 hours since I did that. Now when I type in my custom domain, it redirects to my wordpress site correctly, but the URL showing is still showing the free wordpress domain name. In WordPress’s dashboard, I tried making my custom domain the primary domain. When I next type in my custom domain name, I get an error “Too many redirects” from my browser. What am I missing here?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The “too many redirects” error can happen when you have changed your mapping over to a domain before the domain itself has had the opportunity to point correctly to our hosting.
I went ahead and verified that your domain is now pointing towards us correctly. It is, and so I updated your primary domain back to gogbca.org, and it is now pulling up just fine. You may need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see it correctly, but it is working!
Here’s some information on how to do that, if you need it:

I didn’t do a single thing, but you’re welcome nonetheless! I was happy to do it. ;)
Have a great rest of your week.
