Too much text on Pictorico slidewr

  Is there a way to limit the number of characters or text that appears on a front page slider in the Pictorico theme? Right now, the slider is loading entire paragraphs of text onto the home page. The only way to keep the amount of text down is…not to write any.

  I have exactly the same problem. Is there some text formatting to add that will manage which text I want to be displayed on the slider?

  Seems I found the answer. Pretty simple. You just had to add the “more“ tag. See that image : http://www.imagebam.com/image/a2ac22332437838

  If you want customized text over the slider image, while in Dashboard –> Posts –> Edit Post, you can use the “Excerpt” section to type in what text you’d like instead of the text in the body of the post. Love this theme so far!
