too slow to log in

  Hi

  After making a lot of modification to my website it became very slow, so much so that I can’t even log in to my wordpress anymore.

  Is there a possible explanation available? I thought it might have been a new picture that was way too heavy, tried changing it with my FTP backup, doesn’t work
