Took over site, ended up being WordPress. Migration Question!

  I just recently took over a website that was done in WordPress. I am looking to host the site on my web server.
  I have the pre-existing file structure as well as an sql backup that the previous owner exported for me.
  Needless to say I’m new here.
  Whats my next step? Is there a great tutorial out there for what i’m trying to do?

  Means you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG – see above for the links – you should find all sorts of help at .ORG on how to move your site.
