  Sorry, a simple question – I want to export my blog out as a backup, but where is Tool button? Thanks.

  Provided you are logged in under the username account who is Admin of the blog and who registered the blog the Tools are available to you so you can create XML backup files which you can store on our own computer. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
