tool section empty, No tools!

Hi,
I have problems with my tools section for this blog, there is nothing in it. You can see the screen shot here
Is this due to the theme or what? Since there is nothing in the toolbox I cannot change the theme to test if it is the problem.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

First thing to try is to log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then take another look.
Also, are you logged in as an administrator? Go to users > all users and looks to see what role is assigned to your username.

The most basic question is, what are you trying to do?
Your screen shot looks like you have done this:
dashboard–>settings—>toolsBut if you want to chand the theme, then you should be doing this:
dashboard—>appearance—>themesIf you are trying to edit a post, then you need to do this:
dashboard –>posts—>all posts—>choose which post you want to editSimilar for editing pages:
dashboard—>pages—>all pages—>choose which page you want to edit -

Thanx for looking into this.
Now I have emptied the cache and the history and the cookies.. and the problem is still there.
The screen shot was only for showing how the toolbox section looks
I was not trying to do anything special but to find out what is wrong. I can´t do anything since the toolbox is empty :0( not even try different ways to try solving the problem.
I attempted to change the theme just to see if the problem still was there after changing the theme. I have never had any problems with wp before.
I also get redirected when i press the settings button. It goes to the pollsection.
I can´t add categories either
My other blogs under this same account works just fine, so this really puzzles me.

That tools page isn’t supposed to have more than you already have on it. Creating categories is done under the Posts tab, then click on Categories. It is weird that it comes up with Polls when you click Settings though…
What other issues are you having?

Go to the top right hand corner of your Admin page and click “screen options” then select all the modules there.

Polls > http://en.support.wordpress.com/polls/
Tools > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/tools/ -

now I have tried…. tried.. but no luck and my eyes are square shaped ;0D
