Tools > Delete Site not available on WP.com site

  I want to delete the site elyon73.wordpress.com. it is hosted by wordpress.com. but there is no option under the Tools menu to do this.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Then you are not the blog owner – log in under the account you used to create the blog –

  Note that once you delete the blog you can Never use that URL again

  Then why does it appear under my WordPress.com account? Can I remove it from there?

  Blogs under your account are all blogs you are a contributing member of (Admin, Editor, Author, Contributor)

  You need to be logged in as the blog owner to delete a blog and deleting must be done from the dashboard – and people still delete the wrong blog
