‘Tools –> Import’ Not Showing Up

  I would like to move my blogger blog to wordpress. It seems extremely clear and simple. Go to tools, and in that menu, click Import. But I see no Import. Under the Tools Menu is just another header that says Tools, telling me that Gears is running. Nothing about Importing or Exporting or anything it should. Help, anyone?

  Under the tools header, there should be

  Tools
  Import
  Export

  Are you signed in as an administrator? If yes, log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

  It also depends on the blog itself. When asking questions, you make it easier for us to help if you include the URL of the WordPress.com blog in question, even if it doesn’t have anything in it.

  Yes, I am signed in as an Administrator.

  The blog is maybeablog.wordpress.com

  Oh! Wow, I feel…foolish? I was looking at the wrong Tools menu. There are two that just have

  Tools

  But there is another one elsewhere on the site that has what it is supposed to. Well, thanks for your help. Without it I wouldn’t have found it. Sorry for being a newbie and starting a topic that was so simple.

  I didn’t know that you had to click on Site Admin in the bottom right corner of the blog, and then look at the tools menu from there. Oops.
