Tools Missing #1848334. How do I get Hover to show my menus?

  My husband emailed you about the problems I am having with wordpress. Simon answered and said he had to hear from me, on my email account. His email contained the number #1848334. My wordpress no longer gives me access to many of the tools I need. I no longer get menus when I hover over words in Dashboard -> Posts or Dashboard -> Pages. His blog shows a menu under the other words which says “Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View” but mine doesn’t. How do I move something to the trash? How do I View? The default is Edit, and that is what I get if I click . Grace
