Top black bar.

Hi! On my blog I have this black bar at the top of my blog where you can press a thing to go back to the top of my blog. How do I get rid of it? Because I visit this other WordPress blog and it does not have it. Do you have to buy a blog and then do you not get it? I know its not just my blog that has it because other blogs have it. If you could help me that would be great!

Hi kaitlynh1! I remember when the black bar first came out and I swear I had the EXACT same reaction!
You’ll find this ‘black bar’ does not appear to the public. Only when you are logged-in to a specific self-hosted WordPress site or the WordPress.com system.
If you have another web browser on your computer, you can try visiting your site and if you see the black bar, just mouse up to your icon in the top right and ‘Sign Out.’ Now you’ll see your site exactly like the public.

Great, thanks! I’m also wondering why my pictures from older posts seem to be disappearing and I have to re-upload them. Am I doing something wrong?
