Top clicks widget NOT working
-
Well since a few days or weeks ago i noticed my Top clicks widget (and on other sites) not working, it kept saying “None.”. Why is that? Can you fix it? It is starting to get annoying.

Well, as you can see it’s not fixed yet. My advice is, keep complaining at least once a week until it gets fixed.

Same problem here!
Glad that I found this post before asking the question to the forum myself.I thought that it had to do with me putting in an affiliate link (books I read) in a text widget in my blog. (http://www.jedentagberlin.tk)
After that, it seemed to have stopped workin. I removed the “affiliate”-widget again, but the clicks-widget still won’t work.
As others have the same problem, maybe it’s a different cause? The stats in my dashboard do work and there are clicks. They just don’t show up in this special widget. What a weird widget.
By the way: In a different post I just read that, of course, WP won’t tolerate marketing on its free hosting service. But as I understand it, occasional affiliate links are OK as said in their Types of Blogs pages:
“To be clear, examples like people writing original book or movie reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people linking to their own products on Etsy do NOT fall into this category.”
If I’m wrong, please someone let me know.
(I first thought they might have made my clicks-widget stop working because I added this book-link.)Jay

We’ve fixed the bug with the Top Clicks widget. As your cache clears out, it should start displaying the links again.
