top menu changing after login in

first of all i’m pretty much new on these forums, so hi all!

at this moment i’m trying to figure out how to have my top menu changing/adding buttons after login in to my blog. i used multiple plugins but found they didn’t add buttons that redirects them to some sort of control panel (dashboard). they do provide widgets tho that give these options but i’m not really fond of having a widget with a login form.

to have a better idea of what i am looking for is viewable on manaflask.com. it shows ‘login’ and ‘register’. when logged in it adds a button named ‘control panel’ and changed ‘login’ to ‘logout’.

if you have a plugin which does this or know how to use a bit of css to do this it be much appreciated.

    kind regards,
