Top menu over an image

Hi everyone!
I am pretty knew with WP sorry in advance if the questions is silly.
I want to to organize my top menu (about, home, contact) – without a background or any column – on top of the image I chose as a “logo”.
Not sure if I made myself clear, but If yes I would appreciate an advice.
