Top Posts and Pages – changing the time window

  Hi, I see this has been requested in the past, but I thought it was worth bringing up again. Can the Top Posts and Pages widget be adjusted so that you can show the top ones of all time? Or from a timeframe greater than 48 hours? As a blogger with lower traffic, my top posts are typically my most recent posts, and I already have a widget for Recent Posts. Having one that showed the top posts of all time would help highlight some of my older posts that my readers have enjoyed. Thanks for your consideration!

  One work-around you might want to consider in the meantime is using a text widget with the display posts shortcode and setting the orderby argument to “comment_count”.

  It’s not quite the same but it will show up your most commented-upon posts which (hopefully) won’t be exactly the same as your recent posts.
