Top Posts & Pages Widget
-
When I add the Top Posts & Pages Widget to the left sidebar it only displays one blog post from over a year ago. I have it set to display at least 5 posts based on views. Why is it only showing one and how can I fix this? Is it based on a baseline number of views? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
It’s based off what’s popular in the last 48 hours.

Is there a way to set it so that is simply based on the top [five] most viewed posts ever without the 48 hour setting. I just want it to show my top posts from my whole blog.

For example, can it be set to just show the top five posts that have gotten the most views ever?

Hi,
You can try the workaround explained here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/top-posts-and-pages-changing-the-time-window?replies=3#post-2044603One work-around you might want to consider in the meantime is using a text widget with the display posts shortcode
http://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/
and setting the orderby argument to “comment_count”.
