TOP SHADING ON PURPOSE THEME

  I want to get rid of the top header shading on my website, but I’m not to sure the correct CCS code to type in! does anyone out there know the answer! would really appreciate the help!

  Hi there,

  By shading, do you mean the aqua color of the header on your theme?

  If so you don’t need custom CSS to modify that. To specify a different color for this area, click on the Colors and Background tab of your site customizer here: https://wordpress.com/customize

  When you do, just look for the aqua colored swatch highlighted here:

  

  Click on it to choose a new color from the swatches presented, or you can click on the pick your own color link to use a color picker tool to choose a custom color
