Both Hostgator and WordPress offer top toolbars, and currently, I cannot get past the wordpress sign in, because you are asking me money for a second time, after I just paid HOSTGATOR for registering the website and hosting my domain. I even installed wordpress from the HOSTGATOR control page. I would like some help with WORDPRESS, including how to get back over to HOSTGATOR. Thank you.

To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

Since you have paid for hosting on Hostgator, you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. If you wish to connect this site to your WordPress.com account, you will want to install Jetpack:
