Total follower count changed – how to fix plz

  Hi, my total follower count displayed on the front of the blog always included the twitter followers but now suddenly only contains the total wordpress followers and I’m not sure why? is there any way of bringing this back or is it a bug? I’m also asking this via the https://wordpress.com/help/contact page for the first time as I can’t seem to find the url of the support forums?

  Hi there!

  There was a recent change removing social media followers from the public-facing subscriber count to more accurately show the actual subscriber count of your website (which is your email subscribers and WordPress.com followers).

  I hope that clarifies things!
