total newbie: change the name of my blog-to-be

    Many people have trouble with my first and last name. Rather than have the name of my blog be difficultappelation, I’d rather have difficult.appellation. How do I make the change? Do I have to contact someone, and if so, whom? Thanks!

    Please read carefully before you decide to change it.

    Hi there,

    Free WordPress.com addresses cannot contain any punctuation, so you won’t be able to use the address, linnda.caporael.wordpress.com at all.

    And you’d only be able to use an address like linnda.caporael, if a top-level-domain, .caporael existed, which it does not.

    So while you can change your free site’s address using the instructions provided above, you won’t be able to change it in the way you want to.
