Totally confused what is going on?

    I have my own WordPress install, all working but when I use the Jetpack plugin It asks me to log on to connect and enter my email which I do, then I am directed to create a wordpress hosted site which I don’t want. What’s going on?

    Hi there,

    To use Jetpack, you need a WordPress.com username account, like the one you used to post here – most of Jetpack’s features are served to your site via our servers, rather than loading directly from your own server, so it needs this connection to work.

    But you don’t need to create a separate site here on WordPress.com.

    Is this for https://moffattmedia.com/? I can see that site properly connected to the WordPress.com account you used to post here, so you shouldn’t need to do anything else with regards to Jetpack on your site.
