totally locked out

  I have an account (edwilliamsdevelopment.wordpress.com) that I started with an email that I no longer have access to (I’ve started a new account just to seek help here).

  I have no idea how I’m supposed to get back in :(

  Please help!

  You can fill up this account recovery form to prove the ownership of your account.

  Someone from the WordPress staff will co-ordinate with you via email on the address you provided in “What email address should we contact you at?” field.

  Hi, thanks for the reply.

  I’ve tried that but I have to be able to answer one of these questions:

  – Do you have a transaction ID? What’s this?
  – Do you have an activation URL or key? What’s this?
  – Do you have two factor authentication codes?

  All of this information would have been accessible from my old email, which I no longer have access to.

  So I am not able to submit this form :(

  Any thoughts on how I might get around this?

  Well in that case, maybe you can talk to the WordPress staff and see if they can help you with it.

  Hi Ed,

  Without proof of ownership, it won’t be possible to access the site. There are two email address on the account so I have contacted them. For security reasons I can’t share the email address with you, so please check all of your accounts.
