Totally Lost in moving my site

Spoke with someone here last week about moving my WP website from GD to WP. Finally resolved issue with GD, purchase business site on WP, installed move to WP on my GD, clicked to move — it is now asking me to purchase a plan, again and some other buys not addressed last week, had I know maybe would have though differently about buying ‘add-ons’ to move.

I am increasingly getting upset. . . convinced to move to WP last week . . . trying to do so . . . was told part of subsrcibing to ‘business’ would provide me with the support I need. Apparently NOT. I want to talk to an actaul person.

Are you sure you’re logged into the account here where you purchased a Business plan? The instructions are here. https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-an-entire-wordpress-site/
I suspect you aren’t logged in to the right account or you would have access to Livechat rather than this forum which is for free sites. This thread is tagged for staff assistance.

Sorry you have had difficulty with accessing the priorty support that is included in your Business Plan. To clarify, you do not see the chat and email options if you click the “contact support” button here at this direct link? https://wordpress.com/help/
You should see 3 options that look like this in a popup window on your right side:

Or is the issue that you can see those options but get some odd behaviour when you click on some of them?

Sorry for your frustration there as well. I read the transcript of that conversation and it sounds like it ended on a positive note but that things have not gone as expected from there. Let me see if I can sort out what the difficulty is.
I am able to see that you have installed the Move to WordPress.com plugin on thelegalcompanion.com. During the migration you are asked to pick a “destination” which is the site here on WordPress.com that your data will be moved to. I noticed that you have several sites here on WordPress.com so I wonder if you are inadvertently picking one of your free sites?
Are you able to take a screenshot of the options you are shown, and clarify which one you are clicking on? Your Business Plan upgrade is on thelegalcompanioncom.wordpress.com this is the site you are picking, yes? You see the prompt to upgrade after that point?
