I got the slider and the three most recent posts set up, but all of my blog posts are displayed under the three recent, instead of one image and a link to more. How do I get it to look like the demo?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I think you need the blog posts that you want in the header, to be tagged with “featured” word. Then slider will work.

i have the same problem- i need the other not to be presented fully just title image and maybe a summary

Also, no photos show up in the slide show even though there is a photo in the blog posts (actually the photos ARE the blog posts).

How do I get it to look like the demo?
One of the principal differences between the Toujours demo and your site is that the demo has four posts in the featured content slider and your site has just one. That’s because the demo has four posts with the featured content tag assigned, and your site only has the featured content tag assigned to one post.

Not sure what you mean by “one image and a link to more.” The demo displays 12 posts on the front page below the slider, including the special section for the latest three, and one sticky post following the most recent three. After the twelfth post comes the “Older Posts” link, which indicates that infinite scroll is disabled on the site, leaving the number of posts displayed on the front page dependent upon 1.) the number of posts published on the site, and 2.) the pages per post setting at the WP Admin Reading Settings page. Differences between the demo and your site summarized:
1. Demo has four featured content posts, whereas yours has one.
2. Demo has a single sticky post, and yours has none.
3. Demo obviously has infinite scroll disabled, and a posts per page setting (of 11, I think), whereas the absence of an “Older Posts” link at the bottom of the front page makes it unclear whether you have infinite scroll disabled. -
Do you mean that you want to show post excerpts instead of full posts on the blog page?

How do I get the page buttons to show under the site title on Toujours?
The site https://losingitbutnotlost.wordpress.com/ doesn’t have the Toujours theme activated. Are you referring to a different site? What do you mean by “page buttons?” Are you referring to the navigation menu (classic or custom)?

The images displayed in the slider are featured images assigned to featured content posts. Images are not drawn from the post content to be displayed in the slider. See the Featured Images support page.

is a slider when you have the that huge slideshow of different posts you want featured?

hey! i put featured on more than one post but it’s only showing one post in featured…so annoying! help please
