Track blog statistics

  Hi,

  May I know what are the ways to obtain a detailed blog statistics? Is there any possibility of knowing right down to the identity of the person visiting the page by running some sort of java script to pull information from his/her system or knowing what are the pages thathave been visited before or after visiting the blog? Or maybe even track your cookies to other websites such as friendster?

  Appreciate your help cos I’m currently doing a school project on blog traffic analysis. Thanks!!!
