Track Pageviews on Media Files

I’m looking for a way to track pageviews, time on page, bounce rate and referral source on PDFs uploaded into the Media file in WordPress.

It looks like my Google Analytics tracking code isn’t pulling on the PDF URL (below). Is there a setting that will do this? If not, is it possible to gain access to the code to manually update it with the tracking code?

Use Case: I want to be able to use direct links (on social media posts, ads, etc.) to the content so users don’t have to waste time on or potentially bounce from a landing page.
