Trackback a page not post?

    Hi all,

    Is it possible instead of a trackback to a post to trackback to a page instead?
    I have another blog hosted on my own domain and I want to trackback to a page I created from my wordpress.com blog.
    I have pingbacks and trackbacks enabled and accepted. To get the trackback URI I have to check the page source code for posts, but when I try that for pages, the URI is not in the code. So does anyone know if they work that way or do I have to just link to the page?
