  I’m really new here, but I’ve already gotten three ‘trackbacks’. Can someone explain to me, in very simple terms (I’m new to blogging) what a trackback is and how to know if it is spam or not? Should I be able to click on their link back to their site? If it doesn’t go back to a genuine website, is it spam? Please help!

  2. You do not have to moderate and approve any pingbacks you receive. I trash most of the ones I receive.
