Add topic to favorites
Trackbacks are not working (at least for me). I have been told it’s a known issue, but there is no time promised for a fix. FYI …

Yes, it is a known issue. We ask for your patience while we work on getting them fixed. As you note, there is no timetable I can give you.

I know that it is being worked on. I cannot comment on the scope of the problem or a timeframe for a fix, I’m afraid.

We are aware of the problem and it is being worked on. I have no further information aside from that, I’m afraid.

I understand your frustration, it is a feature used by many.

As staff, you could request more information. This was reported by some people 2 weeks ago. That’s a VERY long time for a basic feature to be out of use.

There is no more information to share.

At the moment, you should assume that this feature will be inoperative for the forseeable future. It is being worked on, I have not heard anyone say that it is something that is being abandoned. But it currently doesn’t work.

Rootjosh, thanks. The reason I keep coming back to this is that, although you say you have no information, I am getting a distinct “don’t hold your breath” vibe on all this!

Very odd that such a basic feature is being given such low priority.

You shouldn’t have a “don’t hold your breath” feeling. This isn’t that sort of situation.

It’s more of a “this appears to be a chllenge and we need to work on it to make sure it is done correctly” situation. It is not low priority at all.

Although if the feature is coming back in a different/improved way, it would have been nice not to have a gap. Anyhow, let’s see.
