Tracking audio player stats?

  Hello –

  Is it possible to track how many times people have pressed “play” on the wordpress audio player when I use it in a post for an mp3?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  G’day,
  I’m sorry but I don’t see that capability in the support documentation.Perhaps it does exist and I have simply been unable to locate it. I suggest that you contact Staff and return to this thread to share what their answer is.

  Hi, I’m back. I checked with Support and they issued the following response:

  “You are currently unable to track audio player stats but I have made a note of your suggestion so that we can have it in mind as we work on features. Happy blogging!”

  So, hopefully they will follow through on this suggestion sometime in the not so distant future.

  Thanks so much for returning and sharing the answer with us. I believe that other bloggers have also requested the ability to be able to track their ebook downloads and other files being offered for downloading too.
