Tracking Feeds

  I am wondering how I can track how many people subscribe to my site. Feedburner and other things can’t because I can’t make my regular RSS send it through that.
  There used to be a way in blogstats. Is there another way now?

  No I’m sorry but there is no way to do that. The feed stats program had problems and was discontinued some time ago now. We have no idea how many subscribers use which feed reader service. The program may or may not be re-introduced in the future. Although we cannot have the full service feedburner offers here we can use the update by email service http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/11/how-can-i-offer-email-updates/

  yeah I knew it got discontinued…when you host your own wordpress you can get a redirect plugin…
  so there is now way to track it then…? hmmm, thats too bad

  There’s no way at wordpress.com to do this at this time – sorry.
