Tracking links between a word press site and non word press site

  Hello
  I have set up a word press site that I want to use to send traffic to a non word press site. I get a tracking link from that site to use as a link on my site that looks like this

  http://example.com/664/pagename?campaign=1647&keyword=

  I need my wordpress site to populate the keyword parameter so when something clicks on the link it will show in the reporting of the other site with a keyword.

  Now this is where it gets really tricky. I need to show one page to 3 different sources and for each source the link dynamically allocates the keyword used on the second site depending on what traffic source brought that user to my site.

  For example if I give facebook this link
  https://wordpress.com/mac-makeup/?c=3
  and google this link
  https://wordpress.com/mac-makeup/?c=2
  I need that number 3 to be allocated in the keyword parameter when facebook traffic clicks the link and the number 2 allocated in the keyword parameter when google traffic clicks the link.

  Then in the reporting on the second site we can see which traffic source was driving what traffic.

  I hope this makes sense to someone because having browsed the forums and the web it seem to be a unique problem.

  Hi there,

  The User Guidelines for WordPress.com prohibit creating a site that primarily exists to send traffic elsewhere:

  “Spam or machine-generated content.
  You know what this is, but in general, sites such as those primarily dedicated to drive traffic to third party sites, boost SEO, phish, spoof, or promote affiliate marketing aren’t cool.”

  Check out the User Guidelines and the Terms of Service. It sounds like WordPress.com might not be the right place for your website.

  Thanks for the feedback
  The primary focus of the site is not to drive traffic to the other site, but my problem is solely how to fix this tracking link problem.

  I haven’t made it yet. I don’t see how that would matter. That part of the url doesn’t need to be multi functional

  since there are two types of “WordPress” it matters a lot
