TRACKING PIXEL ON HEADER SCRIPT NOT WORKING!

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello, I have inserted a tracking pixel in the header scripts on one of my pages, however this pixel isn’t showing up on my tracking. Would anyone know how to fix this issue. Thankyou .

  • Hi there,

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host (which I suspect you do as it’s not possible to add code directly to a site header on WordPress.com), please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

    My apologies i have logged into the wrong account my website is http://www.visionwaters.com

    And the page i am having an issue with the tracking pixel is http://www.visionwaters.com/thank-you … i was instructed to put this pixel in the header scripts on this page however, the support from my tracking software is telling me that the tracking pixel is not there .. below is the tracking pixel i would need in the header scripts..

    <!– ClickMagick Pixel Code –>
    <script>
    var cmPixel = document.createElement(‘img’);
    cmPixel.src = “//www.clkmg.com/api/a/pixel/?uid=102604&att=2″;
    </script>
    <noscript><img height=”1″ width=”1″ style=”display:none”
    src=”//www.clkmg.com/api/a/pixel/?uid=102604&att=2″
    /></noscript>
    <!– End ClickMagick Pixel Code –>

    Thank you

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
