Tracking visitor IPs?
-
Maybe I haven’t searched enough, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to track the IP addresses of incoming visitors to my blog. My impression is that Google analytics can do this, but that I can’t attach it to my blog (based on other searches on that topic).
Is there a tip/trick/tool that will allow me to see my visitors by IP?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
There is no way to do this on a WordPress.com blog because we cannot access this area <header> and insert any tracking codes. There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins like Google Analytics on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. If you want that then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.Additional Info
Can I use Google Analytics?
No, Google Analytics cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs at this time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info -
I was afraid of that. I was mainly hoping I could find something I hadn’t found in previous searches.
Thanks for the help
