    whitenoise.wordpress.com is an old website no longer in use
    I am the trademark owner for the name Whitenoise and would like my url whitenoise.wordpress.com on my new account here.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @glasscityrecords, I’m not a lawyer and I’d recommend checking with yours to confirm, but I don’t think we can just take someone’s domain, even if they don’t seem to be using it. They would need to be willing to transfer ownership to you.

    That said, have you considered using a custom domain instead? You can register a domain free with any annual paid plan. If you’re the owner of whitenoise.com already, you can connect it here; we can help.

    Or if you’d like, you could use one of our free .blog subdomains, such as whitenoise.music.blog — would that work for you?
