Traffic

  Dear Help Desk
  I need to monitor the traffic from different countries with the world map. This option has not been displayed recently.
  I would be thankful if you could activate this option.

  Hi Shiva,

  Are you referring to the map at https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=9620170 ?

  The world map is functional on that page when I view your site’s stats—is it not working there for you?

  Hi,

  In Chrome, when visiting that page, can you right-click and choose “Inspect Element”, then click the Console tab. If there are any errors listed, could you copy/paste them to me?

  The map is working on our end, so it sounds like either a browser or connectivity issue may be causing the problem.

  Yes, I do find an error message , beginning with a red triangle and an exclamation mark in it.

  It says ,”event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.”

  Hi Shiva,

  Hmm, that wouldn’t cause an issue with the map. Does the map appear for you on https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?unit=1&blog=9620170 using a different browser (Firefox or IE)?

  Another option to double-check is that the Views by County space wasn’t collapsed? If you’re see the title, but not the box under it with the list of countries and the map, try clicking the title.

  Each box can be “opened” and “closed” as well as moved around.
