Traffic a quarter of what it used to be

I’m sorry to keep asking for suggestions, but I’ve done everything I can think of, but in the last 6-8 weeks my traffic has gone from a steady 150-200 to 50-60 a day. I’m connected to everything. I redesigned the website to have a cleaner look. I post and comment every day. I don’t know what happened. I’m on the verge of giving up on it, but I wanted to see if anyone saw anything glaring that I can try to fix. I don’t have time to do aggressive marketing or anything, but I wasn’t before. I just wrote the same kind of articles I do now and things went much better. Any advice would be appreciated.

As I’ve explained to you in previous conversations, there are many reasons why a site may lose traffic over time, just as others suddenly see an increase. It’s often a very difficult question to answer with anything definitive, just like it’s hard to know why a band can release a smash album and their next one flops.

I don’t see anything on our end that is causing the problem.

I’d encourage you to keep blogging, and also be sure to follow other blogs that have similar content or that you just find interesting, and comment on their sites. Always work on building your following and creating content that is unique and appealing, that people will want to read and share with their friends.
