Traffic after changing to a custom domain

    If I upgrade to a custom domain, will traffic to my old, generic domain be re-directed AUTOMATICALLY? ==== YOU SUGGEST that I “master my domain” by changing from goodolewoody.wordpress.com to goodolewoody.me and I was wondering if I do that, traffic to the old domain be directed automatically to the new one.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    A custom domain will be mapped to your existing WordPress.com blog. Therefore the visitors will automatically be redirect, and you can still use the same site.

    To map or register a domain, you can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
