Traffic And Tags

  My blog BPD enjoyed more than 100 hits today. Could that be because I used too many tags on my posts?
  It was suggested to me to remove some of them which I did, as well as removing some categories.
  I don’t know why I had so much traffic today since my blog is less than a month old.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No. But iIt could be because you had a friend who promoted your blog, and it could be because you have been chatting in the off-topic forum area, and it could be that traffic came from the global tags pages. If we didn’t have blogging to so we could speculate on this forever.

  100 hits in a day for a month-old blog is doable as long as the blog is on interesting, topical subjects. It’s a GOOD result, but it’s not an UNTHINKABLE result.

  On your main stats graph, click on the dot where you see the peak. That will show you where the hits came from on that day.

  @Everyone, thanks I was just surprised it was my best traffic day, it was uplifting!
