Traffic from Instagram

I post on Instagram when I have a new blog post on WordPress, and send people to my blog via a link in my Instagram profile. I know people are reading the post within the Instagram app (I’ve gotten new Instagram followers as a result) and I’m wondering if that traffic is counted in the WordPress views/likes stats?

Whenever users view/like your posts through WordPress.com it is recorded in your stats. There are more details about stats available to you in this guide:

I understand that when a user views the blog through WordPress the stats are updated. It’s when they’re in Instagram app & view the site — Instagram doesn’t open up a web browser but opens the site still within that app. It’s those in-app views that I’m wondering if they get counted in the stats.

Thank you. Instagram has a framed browser, so they stay in Instagram instead of opening in Chrome or Safari. The views are counted.
