Traffic has disappered since Jan 1, 2013

  Hello, I use to receive traffic on my blog for Lockettmedi.wordpress.com, yet now I have no traffic at all since the end of last year.

  I’m pretty active in social media and even though I know, traffic is a tricky to get no traffic on any of my posts past and present, seems quite odd.

  Could you check to see if something is wrong or if there is a box I need to click so my posts can find their way to the search engines?

  You literally only have one post per month since January. You need to post more frequently. Never mind being active on social media: you’re giving people no reason to read your blog more than once a month. Anyone subscribed you your blog has zero reason EVER to go to the website directly.

  Hi slocket,

  A lot of your traffic was coming from Google Image search. Google has significantly changed their algorithms over the past 6 months. Additionally Google searches do not immediately send users to the original site to see a larger version of the image.

  Google’s change seems to account for the significant drop in traffic you’ve seen.
